Lavender and Calendula

I just added two new products to my eCrater store front, Lavender Salve and Calendula Salve.  Both of these herbs are well known for their folk-lore tales of being extremely healthy for your skin.  Although, both of these herbs are somewhat similar, they contain different healing properties.  All of my products are all natural therefore their shelf life last 6 months or up to a year if you keep it in the refrigerator. I also believe in creating sample size products so both of these salves also have a sample size available to see how you like it.

I have been using lavender for many years in many different ways. While doing research and learning on my own, I found that lavender helps relieve headaches, soothes burns, helps to moisturize dry chapped skin.  It has been used to soothe the rough skin on your feet, elbows and knees.  It has even helped to soothe  chapped lips.
When using a lavender balm on your temples to help relax and to aid with a headache, be sure to NOT to get it in your eyes.
Lavender is considered to be a relaxant, so even using it in aromatherapy;  the scent relaxes and calm you.

There are a lot of "Folk Tales" about what all Calendula has been used for.  As an example-it is suppose to be great for skin elements.  It helps with stretch marks, cold sores, athlete's foot and even diaper rash.  It is a skin softener, aids with chapped skin, varicose veins, and healing scar tissue. Often calendula in used in formulas to help with eczema.

** If you have a sensitivity to plants in the daisy family "DO NOT USE" **

Disclaimer:  I believe in the therapeutic and healing properties of herbs. I personally use them and have studied them well over 25 years.  Under NO circumstances am I prescribing or suggesting any kind of medical advice.   Everything I have listed on the labels are all considered to be "Folk-Lore" remedies.   ALWAYS research any herb you are not familiar with and ALWAYS consult with your medical doctor before using or taking any herb with your regular medication.
